For sure, We are gonna be in town tomarow evening staying at the executive plaza hotel only a bit aways from soundsgood. 5 minute drive to be exact.

We will come by saturday & make some introductions then show up sunday around 8:30ish.

We just finished the new enclosure tonight & The amps wont be wired up until litteraly 20 minutes before we hit the road tomarow. So thease #'s are all going to be off rushed amplifier settings. I will likely use just minimum gain & volts until i can propperly tune it for the next shows comming up.

 

should be fine , one of the first shows of the year so alot of ppl are in that boat !

 

I wouldn't show up any earlier than around 10 am.....nobody gets their butts out of bed till 11 around here anyways.

doing better than me...I framed up my wall today....gonna be a close finish if I work all day saturday, then pull an all-nighter.....still got wiring to do, battery to mount, wall to build, subs to mount and wire, temp door panels to make, speakers to add, and a little testing somewhere in the mix...not to mention finish a little something else I'm working on, pack the other car with tools and such, and wash and vaccuum both vehicles....only34 hrs to go....

 

Which shops have u contacted? Which city did u want to have it in, or does it matter? Do u have TL with 2 mics, or would sponsor shop supply? Fun show, or points show?

Don't wanna thread jack, but Sound Solutions in Vic is having a fun show on the 18th. Pre-register ($25) by the 11th. I know, late notice. It can be paid at the Duncan location (by The Brick) or Vic location (old Isl. Hwy, by McDs). Might be a good chance to test and tune.

I've wanted to do an SQ event, but am wondering what rules I have to follow.

 

stu doesnt matter matter to me were the show is held victoria , duncan , or nanaimo just trying to get somthing going , I have a termlab with all the updated softwere , and 2 mics , ken has already made it very clear that he doesnt like the termlab or me so i wont be attending that show in victoria but good luck with the show

I have no problems with u, and will probably attend your show if it's on a Sunday or an evening as long as it doesn't conflict with my schedule. I would like to try the SQ end of things as well and get some face time with any seasoned competitors/judges. I've never attended an sq event, so it would be interesting.

Have u contacted many possible locations up and down island? The more shows on van isle, the better. Good luck man. Hopefully someone will pull through with a venu for the show.

 

the only bad blood is ken ripping people off , i got tired of seeing him rip people off , all i asked for was give me a deal here and there , and would of supported his shop and his shows , not try and sell me a 5 dollor fuse holder for 110 dollors , and bad mouthing every peice of equipment that i use

ive been talking to makays in vic and their a posibility to hosting the show ive already bought some awards and have some prizes , i would bring in a sq judge for the sq portion of the show

 

Kind of sounds like the employee's @ andre's here in kelowna / kamloops.

I will show at any show you throw luke aslong as its for points ! & will bring the rest of the crew along aswell.

I will be buying a term lab end of year in the off season, So that will be one to use for okanagan area based shows & shows in general so we can bassbox side by side & such if we can get promoters / stores on board.
