car audio is not what it was... why??? because you have all lost your friggen minds and dont know what the frig your talking about... some of you talk out your ***, others talk out the *** of your buddies... what the hell happened to going to shows and having fun??? If my kids acted even slightly like some of these people.. i would knock them out!

I think the days when everyone was happy and doing it just for fun are long over. It is now a full blown competition with competitive competitors (lol @ the last four words). Once you enter that realm, pissing wars, whining, and rules get in the way, and then it eventually turns into a show. Hell, if it wasn't for Termlab, we would never be able to determine who is actually louder

 

I disagree quite a bit with the first sentence, there is no excuse for this type of competition not being fun. It is car audio... it is silly in the scheme of things... get pissed off at the middle east, I got pissed off I lost 40% of my life's savings when the stock market crashed... let car audio be a fun diversion for weekends. Granted winning is more fun than loosing (but sometimes your the bug sometimes your the windshield)

it sounds like (and I dont want to offend... honestly) that the eastern shows are getting a bit too serious.

Well we do this all the time and they're the most fun. I don't think we've ever had a real beef other than the whole PADDLIN thing on here. And even with that we're all cool about it now..
