I would like to thank all that attended. It turned out to be a perfect day for a show. I saw new people with new interest in the scene. It was great to have enthusiasts from Calgary, Kelowna, & Washington State show up for our little shindig.
I will post the scores in the next couple of days.
It was a great turnout. I'm grateful to have been part of it, Thank you,

Keith

I know, But this time i only had 1x 5k amplifier running @ around 6k rms with some bad voltage drop from not having enough batterys. Got the dual alts, But not enough battery bank with the 175.4 its a beast too.

By next show i will have a huge 14v XS power battery bank running @ 16.5 + I will also have my second 5k amplifier. So over 12k rms easily between 2 lvl 5 18''s, I am sure i will do alright. It takes alota money to get those #'s constant over a 30 second period but i think its worth it.

Also my peaks already where 149.1 just didnt get that as my adverage due to the voltage problems.

Hey keith next time maybe you should etch first place for bassboxing or first place for sq / IDBL / in the back of the metals that would be cool ! Awsome time man thanks for the oppurtunity.

andrew if you built a box with subs up port to the rear your score would gain significantly , also the bedliner on the box around the port is a huge loss on the mic also

boy if thats the turnout for the first local show, then damn the western finals should be killer.

luke99 06-13-2011 02:24 PM

show ran very smoothly the 2 termlabs made everything go by very fast and smooth , the lot worked out very well had an area for sq and had areas for spl and bass boxing , lots of new competitors which was great to see thats what we need

Thanks for the tips, I tryed doing port towards hatch in my last enclosure & it wasnt nearly as loud. A few others in the states with blazers / jimmy's fire the ports up now it seems to work better for reasons beyond my understanding at this point.

I will be modifying the port slightly on this one & raising it another 1.5 inches all around. If that doesnt work as well as i would like i am going to get a battery wrack done under the truck for all my 14v's and use the hole bedliner area instead of having that 6 inches of loss from the batterys against the back seat. I could get a much larger enclosure that way aswell.

I feel my biggest issue today was never competing b4 & not knowing what songs to hit, Along iwth my voltage issues.

When im running both my 5k's and my 16.5 charging system, If this box still isnt satisfying me enough as to where i think it should be hitting i will re-do it with the batterys under the truck.

But by boosting it 2 inches all the way around & the port mods we are making it is going to go to 13 cubes & 160 square inches of port tuned to 32 hz.

Still very happy to have 149 peaks in my first show when i wasnt even knowing how to get the deck setup right so it hits hard right away i kept turning it up slowly witch was dumb. Just rookie mistakes, But still happy. Cant wait for the next one !

We got any inbetween the western finals ?
