Not me.... I usually try to leave a reason. I'll ask in the mod section ;)

we arent allowed you use any businesses in the name unless they give cca money.

so, it probably said "Yuli's SPL Factory" as a venue and was locked due to advertising Yuli's SPL Factory as a venue. That makes no sense because Yuli is a contributing member, therefore, I have concluded you can only post things like "What is better, Alpine Type S or Rockford Punch P2!?!?!?!? HELP!!!!!"

I really wish there was a better solution. people arent happy with the calendar, people are happy unless they can spam their shop or where they distribute product too. :thumbsdow:thumbsdow:thumbsdow:thumbsdow:thumbsdow

This industry is so self serving its unreal.

The mods / admins are brainstorming a better solution. But so far, calendar for events and locking everything else.

However, i like Yuli, his event can be posted.

So what did I do? Post feedback which could potentially help the website and the Car audio scene in canada? Everyone knows that shows have been lacking people lately, And I have been promoting a show I am holding all over the internet, on various car audio websites to try and benefit the Car audio scene in canada. All I have done was post the name of the shop which the show was to be held at, and once it was locked I remade the thread with No mention of any stereo shops. So let me ask you this if I may... Is trying to help out the car audio competition scene a bannable offence? This is one of the sites most audiophiles in canada come to, So why cant I post the name of a shop without giving money to the site?


And for future consideration, the calender is tiny, and very un noticable. Maybe something on the front page should be displayed 1 week before every show until the show happens in big red letters stating where and when the show is.

We're trying to work out a way to solve this without having to go through this shop name removal bs. In the end it really benefits noone if the event is not advertised, but at the same time we cannot disadvantage the advertisers by having a bunch of shops spam all over the board. We'll come to some sort of conclusion that will work out, or a format that we can use that will make everyone happy. We seriously don't want to negatively affect the audio scene, but at the same time have to look out for the interests of our advertisers.

If you have any other ideas other than posting the shows on the front page PM me. The calendar can be seen by all and is there all the time on the bottom of the page, so it is visible to all involved....
