It wasn't an amp problem.. it was a sub problem

Originally posted by JordyO: So what happened with your sub problem Lee? Everyone can blame the sub problems on me. Just before finals I did the recone on these subs for Lee and we spent a weekend of testing. Everything seemed to go well there but it seemed I made the one of the tinsel leads just a little too long. Well Lee must have gotten the subs really "wanging" at finals (that new alt must be doing its job ) because they managed to touch, this caused the amp to cut out, and with Lee's amps when one goes out they all do (Its really wierd). Moral of the story? I will be shrink wrapping leads that are exposed like that the next time around. If it hadn't have been for this Lee should have been in the mid 57's, maybe higher. Sorry Lee |
I dont think it's anyone's fault.. just a bunch of random events that took place.. It's the canadian curse!!
The subs snapped after I "repaired" them too :( Next year I'm going to bring all the "proper" tools to fix stuff like this so we're not all scrambling around at the last second!! |
