Yet another *POLL* Biatches - What Do YOU guys want?
Every new season people that organize and set up shows try to cater to all those who could/would potentially attend those shows. Sometimes it's a hit, sometimes it's a miss. So, let's see what car audio nerds want.
Please read everything before picking any options. You can pick more than one option but please limit your choices as picking all available options doesn't actually show what you guys want. Try to limit your choices to THREE or less.
Before you guys read this, please understand that shows cost money - trophies, space, power, judges it all costs money. Please do not suggest or ask for cheap shows with amazing trophies at expensive venues - that is just impossible. I will personally get Nick The Legend to back hand you at the next show if anyone asks for that.
Here are the possiblities,
Cheap Competition - with entry fee of $10 or less. No trophies. Maybe certificates or something, or maybe not even. Mostly for fun and braggin' rights. Something to do on a Sunday. Intended for those who do not plan to attend Finals - single point event or a none sanctioned body event period.
Moderately Affordable Event - with entry fee of $20-$25. Trophies of upto 1.5 foot in size for first place, rest get certificates. Still a single point event, but also includes Bass Race.
Bargain Multi Point Event - with entry fee of $30-$35. Double point event which includes Bass Race. Trophies only for 1st place, rest get certificates. You receieve double the points and a certified score for Finals. Intended for everyone.
Expensive Multi Point Event - with entry fees of $65-$80. Double point event with Bass Race. Nice trophies for 1st to 3rd places. You receieve double the points and a certified score for Finals. Intended for everyone.

Bass Race Battle for CA$H - entry fee of $15. No trophies. Only one or two Bass Race classes are offered. $5 from your $15 entry fee goes into a pot for your class. Winner of that class takes the pot.
If you guys want these types of shows, or any shows, to happen get your local estabslishments involved. Small shops, big stores, bars, high schools, restaurants, car dealerships, charities and even hospitals and cemetaries are all good candidates for a car audio event.

Well the idea is to get the new guys out with trophies. That is why I build such nice Soundstream trophies. If you only knew how money I lost last year holding shows just to try and make everyone happy. If everyone wanted $10 shows then I can go back to offering cheap certificates in plastic frames. I don't want to do that.

Have the shop give gift certificates for the love of god. Noobs don't want gay trophies especially when it's the same one at every show! Give the winner a $50 gift certificate the shop probobly only spends 30 on the 50 worth of gear and it encourages people to buy. Noobs and vets would all love it. Noobs could put it towards a new 6x9 and pros could buy some rca or something
that may do it lol
