My 5706v key fob does not beep when the alarm is triggered. It works otherwise, it arms/disarms the system and opens the trunk. What could the problem be? The siren works fine.

In the user's manual I don't see a setting for that. Please help, my neighbor has his shock sensor too sensitive I cannot know who's alarm is going off.

 

I tried the obvious, I opened the fob and took the battery out and checked the connections.

It worked after I reassembled it.
