Alert 750r with idatalink bypass module
 
Hi I have a alert 750r alarm keyless entry and remote start system that I am trying to install on my 03 trailblazer I have bought a idatalink bypass module model ads-al ca that had been flashed for my trailblazer I have all wiring diagrams and here they are :

If anyone could help me figure out which wires need to be wired up and where to wire them

Friendly word of advise for you from an installer, if you need help installing this you should not attempt it. From the sounds of your last remark "if anyone could help me figure out which wires need to be wired up and where to wire them" you don't have installation experience. Get it done professionally. There is a fair bit involved in doing a remote start install successfully.

I should probably clarify I have experience with the alarm/remote start side of things and I know what needs to be hooked up with that however this is the first time I've used a bypass module and from what I understand there is significantly less that needs to be hooked up when using a bypass module. From what I see on the diagrams there's maybe 8 or so wires that get wired up on the bypass module then is that it or do I still need to wire in all the rest of the alarm/ remote start wires

Your idatalink module has its own installation instructions, what your going to have to see on your product (Alarm/Start brain) is if there is a r232 port for your bypass module to plug into the brain or if you have to hardwire it.

It's defiantly needs to be hardwired
But after getting the module wired in do I still hook up the rest of the wires I would normally hook up for the alarm brain ie remote start wires brake sense wire that sort of stuff

Yes, you will need brake wire, parklight wire, ground out when running etc etc

Ok thanks I now have it all hooked up but can't get the idatalink to program according to manual I press program button twice then hold down till light comes on, this works fine, then turn key to start position and hold there till light comes on solid for two seconds then turn off key , this step doesn't work the light never comes back on any thoughts

Typical idatalink and Chevy communication, this happens frequently. I would unplug the idatalink harnesses and try to reprogram it. Also recheck all the idatalink connections and be certain they are connected to the right wiring in the vehicle.

Ok I've checked things over it seems good however I have two ignition outputs from alarm brain do I wire both into the module or one to module and one to the vechicle

Yes you need both ignitions hooked up in those vehicle there are 2 ignition wires pink and white plus you have to accessory wires that are mandatory as well orange and brown. If the brown wire is not used your check engine light will come on and your transmission will not shift gears properly. (Yes I know it is an automatic)
