Alpine SEC-8047 and Remote Start

I have 2 questions here, actually. I am about to re-install an old Alpine SEC-8047 alarm system into my truck, but I don't have the wiring schematics for it. I actually remeber a fair bit of it, but am fuzzy on some of the lesser used wires like ext-2 and 3, etc. I also remember how to setup the radar, but none of the other programming. Browsing the Alpine site brings up squat. I found an old post on another forum where all the alarm manuals were linked, but all the links are now disconnected. Can anyone help out in this regard? I'd be happy to supply the exact colour codes I'm looking for, if that's easier.

Also, I just went looking to buy a remote start to add on to this alarm, but was told they don't make them anymore. I thought the guy was nuts until I looked into it myself, and lo and behold, it seems he's right. I would have to purchase a full remote start, remotes and all, and integrate that into my alarm. I'm hoping it has an auxilary input trigger. He recommended the Viper160. I remember the add-ons were always cheaper, and I don't want to spend the extra coin if I don't have to. Does a simple add-on starter exist anymore, or is this the way I would have to go?

Thanks in advance for any replies.

In the hopes of jogging someones memory here, I'm going to post what I have, know and think for the wiring schematic colour codes:

MAIN HARNESS:
RED - Ignition
YELLOW (fused) - Battery
BROWN - (-)trigger for shock (I think)
BLACK - Ground
BROWN w/BLACK Stripe - (no clue)
GREEN w/WHITE Stripe - (-) hood / trunk input (I'm pretty sure)
GRAY - Radar Sensor
RED w/WHITE Stripe - Valet Switch
BROWN w/WHITE Stripe - Door trigger +/- programmable
BLUE - Siren
ORANGE - Starter Cut (I believe it's an armed output, not an alarming output)
YELLOW w/GRAY Stripe - Radar Sensor
GRAY w/BLUE Stripe - Radar Sensor
YELLOW w/GREEN Stripe - ext-2 (I think)
YELLOW w/RED Stripe - LED
BLUE w/RED Stripe (fused) - Dome light supervision (COM)
BLUE w/YELLOW Stripe - Dome light supervision output (NO) (may be ext-3 programmable I think)

DOOR LOCK HARNESS:
YELLOW w/WHITE Stripe (fused) - Parking lights (COM)
WHITE - Parking lights output (NO)
BROWN w/RED Stripe (fused) - Door lock COM
BROWN w/BLUE Stripe - Door lock NC
WHITE w/BROWN Stripe - Door lock NO
GREEN w/RED Stripe (fused) - Door Unlock COM
GREEN w/BLUE Stripe - Door unlock NC
WHITE w/GREEN Stripe - Door Unlock NO

I'm hoping someone can fill in the remaining blanks and/or confirm/correct what I've put down. Thanks again.

I actually found a decent post on this site for an SEC-8063 wiring digram. I'm only clueless on the brown wire now, but no big deal. I should be able to muddle through programming, but if anyone has a manual they could share, that'd be grand of them.

I'm still curious about the remote starter question, if maybe someone in the industry can answer. Is there an alarm add-on (no transmitter included) remote start still available?
