There are lots of good alarms, however the MOST important thing is the Quality of the install, if you got wires hanging all over the place the BEST alarm in the world is not going to help you .

They all lock the doors, they all beep when you press the button. Johnw is right it is all in the install.

cell phone page is the wtg

any alarm (installed properly) that can/does page you to your cell phone, is in my opinion the best setup/way to go. the downside is the monthly fee

(hopefully your setup is worth it!!????)

I still have my original Cliffords concept 20's installed in both my cars with no issues.
Been installed for about 10 years now and still going strong.

My brother has a Compustar alarm and he likes it, just remember the more bells and whistles the more possible problems.
Don't get me wrong, there are alot of great alarms out there. Just do some more homework and put down what you need it to do and it should be easy to do the process of elimination.

Good luck buddy.
