Canadian distributor wanted

Hi guys

AVS Car Security are a New Zealand based car security manufacturer with a great range of high end car alarms you may be interested in. We specialize in Australian Standards certified alarms featuring 3 point immobiliser, data linked battery backup siren, built in turbo timer, glass break and impact sensors as well as being able to operate from the cars factory remote. We also have two way GSM alarm systems available and are close to launching a CAN BUS interface for all models.

We are looking to appoint a Canadian distributor so if you are interested or know of any companies we should contact please PM me or leave a message here.

I checked through the line and you don't have any unique features that other companies aren't offering. Also have all your units been designed for extreme cold weather use?. The last issue/question is, What price will they be coming in at. Shipping half way around the world usually makes things really cost prohibitive

Thanks for your response.

Our high volume models have been tested and certified to ASNZ3749.2003 which is very similar to your Canadian ULC Immobilizer standard. Low temp testing is carried out down to -20 degrees centigrade. We can look at achieving Canadian Insurance certification if required as long as the sales volume makes it worth while. I believe ULC tests down to -40c.

It would be helpful to my research of your market if you could tell me some local models which have ULC certification along with built in turbo timer, data linked siren, OEM remote interface etc all built in. I have only been able to find pretty basic ULC certified alarms or high spec alarms that lack ULC certification. Any suggestions on features you would like to see would be good too.

Product will be shipped from our factory in Taiwan so I don't expect freight costs to be an issue, allow maybe USD1 per unit for a consignment of 500 pcs.

We are looking to appoint a master distributor for Canada so I can't discuss pricing
here. Our pricing however is very competitive.
