Compustar 2W900FM-AS wont start
 

Hey I have a Compustar Compustar 2W900FM-AS which used to start by just holding down button II down, however now when I start it all the lights in the dash come up like its going to start but doesnt crank the engine. when this occurs I can put the key in start the car then remove the key from the ignition and the car still remains running. What could be the problem ??? I can also press and hold button II to tuern the engine off. I have a Honda accord Automatic.

when you remove the key, tap the brake pedal, now as for the not starting, what year honda?

did a shop do your install? if so perhaps try taking it back to them, (sounds like a fuse may have blown, or a wire is no longer attached)

Is there a fuse wire on a wire going to the starter, and is there a valet switch on that module.

Did you resolve the issue ?

You may have to redo the learning tach signal procedure...

I just installed one in my F-350 diesel and it did the same thing, I didn't do the procedure properly works great once i did that.
