Got outta my golf game hte other day....shot a 7 over 78 (pretty good for me), opened up my trunk only to somehow have set my alarm off. At first i wasn't completely sure it was my alarm as it wasn't that loud. Walked around to the side and oh yeah it's my alarm, no one really noticed though, or if they did they didn't care.

My thought is, my alarm isn't very loud at all (i'm just noticing this after like 2 years). How loud are the siren's? Couldn't find any numbers on compustar's website or in the manual off their website. Are they quieter than other brands or was I drunk after that 1 beer i had on #6 to try and improve my game?


BTW, it's a Compustar 2way FM-AS


I haven't purposely set it of,f, cause i hate doing that in our neighbour hood or when other people set off their alarm, and i haven't been in a secluded enough spot to test it out otherwise.

Maybe water in your siren. Makes them realy quite.
Unscrew it and drain.
