compustar or viper?
 

2011 Mazdaspeed3, looking at the viper 5706v. Not wanting the remote start feature. I want it for the upto a mile range and rechargeable remote. I was also looking at Compustar. What company is the better choice?

I've done research but it might be a toss up depending on who you ask?

Or would anyone recommend a different system for my perticular vehicle?

compustar is better in my opinion. i carry both, but rather install and sell a compustar over a viper anyday.

looks like a cm7000 + p2w901ss (alarm/start)

or if youd like alarm only FT6300A + p2w901ss

All the installers I've talked to prefer installing Compustar over Viper. Also, when things go wrong with Viper, EVERYTHING goes wrong.
