iDatalink and Autostart d2d?

Have any of you used the idatalink ADS-DLSL-CH3 in the new 2008+ Caravans? We will be installing Autostart AS6850TW.

Since these are new in our shop I was just wondering how well they work and if there are any issues that have come up with these. The module's will all be flashed with the latest firmware.

We are trying to create an install that requires the least amount of tapping into factory wiring. We have had to many Mechanics blame alarm installations on totally irrelevant mechanical and electrical issues. It seems as though the iData and the Auto start d2d would create a very clean install.

thanks

I use the iDatalink modules all the time.
Sweet products, I love it when everything is connected to the iDatalink module, and then the iDatalink to the data wire of the OBDII plug.
Just follow the instructions and the diagrams carfully and you'll be golden

I've used them with Autostart too, after you program your starter "remotes", just remember to program the Autostart with the remote to use Idatalink cable as its not the defalt module to use for Autostart, select the "ADS" function in programing

Try to check for firmware updates once and a while too before you download the module, you can always flash them again with different firmware. That's the sweet thing about them. Good luck

I've got an 05 Subaru Imprezza to do tommorrow with a factory remote and no wire to disarm the thing. Apparently there's a way to disarm the factory alarm with the key and the trip odometer and the door pin. I guess I'll find out tommorrow
