Information needed CLIFFORD vintage alarm
I purchased a non running 84 corvette in 1998
and managed to bring it back to life. Got it running and drove it to my new home in Poconos in 1999 and put it inside my garage. Its now 2019 and I have decided to revive the car. Put in new battery including a red and black wire of unknown origin to the battery. A lot of issues including a non opening pass door, lights not coming back to life, 2 flat tires, and no starting. I was able to turn over the motor a lot without starting to see the oil pressure go up. Good deal, I insured that the motor would not start dry. Sprayed carb cleaner into the throttle body and it fired right up for 4 seconds. I suspect fuel delivery problems. After a few days of turning over and battery charging, I noticed a CLIFFORD red light on the dash was flashing. Now The car does not TURN OVER. I think I may have reconnected the red and black leads to a CLIFFORD immobilizer. And after a few days it has now started working. The vette did come with two sets of keys having two CLIFFORD fobs. The fobs say Clifford and have 2 buttons. I pushed all buttons and got no light on the fob to light, and no effect on the dash blinking. I have no idea of what model of alarm I have or ways to get around it. The car is still surrounded by other vehicles and the driver's door will only open 1 foot. Pass door will not unlock like the door handle is stuck. Any ideas on what alarm I may have? wiring diagrams? Where it may be?. I may not be able to crawl into the driver's side. I am screwed..
