Polar Car Starter

hello,
I just purchased a 04 cavalier that has an aftermarket polar car starter on it. it is standard transmission and when i put the parking break up and throw it into neutral the car doesn't not start. the bat is fine in the remote, and i hear a the jingle in the car when i push the button. Any help would be appreciated!

search Google then enter Polar Start, then click on Remote Car Starters - Nordic Start - Command Start - Polar Start - Autostart - Replacement Parts

You have to go through a set up routine each time you want to remote start the car:

1) Put car in neutral and pull up E-Brake, (take foot of pedal brake as well)

2) Press the start button (may have a lightning bolt on it) on the remote for 1 second, you will hear approximately 5 clicks from the remote start under the dash and the park lights will flash the same amount of times and then stay lit.

3) Remove the keys from the ignition....the car will remain running at this point.

4) Get out of the car and shut the door.

5) Press the start button (lightning bolt) and the car will shut down.

At this point the car is in reservation mode and is ready to be remote started. You have to do this every time you want to remote start the car.

To remote start the car, press the start button for 1 second.
