Questions about Viper 3307VM Alarm System
 

Hello! I recently had a Viper 3307VM alarm system installed on my 2017 Elantra. I chose this unit because I didn't need remote start and I wanted a two way remote. The system works OK, but not quite as I expected. Arming/disarming the alarm produces a chirp from the car and also beeps the remote which is great, however the parking lights don't flash. I'm used to the parking lights flashing when using the original FOB and I wonder if the Viper system can also be programmed to flash the lights? I also still have to carry the stock FOB because the Viper remote isn't seen by the car as the "key"; without the FOB the car won't start. Is it possible for the Viper remote to substitute for the FOB so I don't have to carry them both? TIA for any insights into how this stuff works :)
