I am seriously thinking bout a security system for my car. I would like some advice on what I should get. I hear I should get an extra battery for backup as well as run a siren/pain device~?'

What brands/models should I consider and what costs am I looking at?

Thanks
Scott

It is an 88 VW Jetta, 2 door, sunroof no power anything. Normally park at home...but I am more concerned if I go to see a movie in the big city. Aftermarket additions is only stereo.

Thanks.

So if I am getting that all right. I will want:
2 door triggers,
Trunk and hood triggers.
A backup battery,
siren/pain device
and ultimately a 2 way paging system

any ballpark on how much this will all cost?

Do I need a saparate pager? Or do they come with their own pager?
