Yea, im a installer at futureshop. and they charge too much for a full power everything install.

I remember a guy came in with a mustang... and paid $850+ for a full 2-way alarm/remote starter install.

well....if it's a decent starter and alarm system, like viper for example....is that not reasonable?

No disrepect to future shop or best buy but listen to Jboy cause they can also butcher your car if you go to the wrong installer over there.

Personally, I've come to the conclusion that the company you go to to do any install has almost no bearing on the quality. The price definitely, but what it comes down to is the experience of the guys who will be doing the install. That's the key question to ask when looking around. How many years does so and so have installing this particular item.

I agree!

I've seen some of the work thats come from other futureshops...and they just throw it in so it works.

I like to take my time and install it like i would on my own car. yes, this takes longer, but it ensures a better install!
thats why i've had no one come back and been installer of the month for 6 months str8
