Admin's reponding to for sale/wtb posts

If it's a no response forum admin should not be posting in there unless it's about a content issue with the post. IMO, it appears unfair that certain people can do so.

It isn't every admin, but:

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/car-audio-sale/24590-phoenix-gold-cyclones.html

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/miscellaneous-stuff-sale-wtb/24135-xbox-sale-trade.html

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/car-audio-wanted-wtb/23377-wanted-5-1-4-component-set.html

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/car-audio-sale/21168-selling-system.html

http://www.canadiancaraudio.com/online/miscellaneous-stuff-sale-wtb/23919-17-gunmetal-rims-tires-cheap.html

That's in about 45 seconds of searching. This isn't a huge problem or anything but it seems a bit off that members can't post in for sale/wtb but admin/void members can for their own personal gain, or even just for no real reason but to add to their post count.

Well, to add to their post count, not likely as it can just be adjusted in the back end.
More times than none, staff of the forum know how to conduct themselves in a more professional manner than some of the regular users. Because of how regular users were responding to the classifieds previously, it was disabled and will not be enabled anytime soon.
So now, i suppose people could look at it as a fringe benefit of volunteering your time and knowledge to the moderation team...

Private message availability is still there for all members though

Funny... I don't see a sign anywhere saying things had to be 100% fair around here.

If the *1* benefit I get out of this place is that I get to occasionally post in a FS ad, I don't really think that's doing any harm to anyone.

But Jordy, you are forgetting the humor factor you are getting off the other million or so posts that go on in here as well!! I agree, that its not 100% fair, as alot of other forums a buyer can post up, something as simple as" you have a pm" or "emailed" but thats ok, PErhaps, one suggestion I can make is to add a pop up notification for private messages so that the response time of a seller/buyer having a message would be great! Only because I know personally that I don't check my messages on here for days unless I specifically am looking for a message from someone! But this is just my 0.02

alot of em seemd like thwe admin was helping the person sell them and putting there 2 cents and and buy only letting admins respons it narrows the bad comments down because i doupt any of em would post a bad comment and plus you see pm before you see post replies

its their job. they are there to check stuff to make sure its allright. if you dont post an asking price why send a pm when they could remind you right there. taking away that would be like no longer allowing them to edit a post that is horrible.

If that's the only benefit you get out of this place why don't you leave?

This is a feedback/suggestion forum, and I was giving mine.
