Our school in Armstrong of all places, was chosen as the test bed in Canada for the then brand new Apple computers, they came in the year before I was in high school if I remember right. Then the scool was chosen again as a test bed for Canada when the Mac computers came into the market. Yup, nothing like wearing out the keyboards of the old Apple computers playing games that you were not supposed to and needing 5 discs to load them into the two drives.

Funny thing, I can still program in basic if I was pressed to. 10 IF A= then GOTO 30 20 RUN 30 "HELLO" Or somthing like that...it was pretty basic and easy. A freind of mine got to 2000 lines on a program he made. Lots of fun to pass the time. |
Man I remember having programs that we stored on regular audio cassettes.
Computer had a cassette drive, was fantastic. |
This processor opperates at a lightning fast 20 mhz... so really if 20 mhz is lightning what is 2.5 ghz
|
Same lightning actually, electricity still goes the same speed.
