A new section ?? ( idea for? )

Hey, well I know that since this forum is a free forum, its still a great forum and place to be. But I was thinking along the lines of maybe adding a new section in for members to show off there cars, systems, but only this. Kinda like memebers ride section, or memebers project section, or just a plain old gallery / vid section. I do know that if this did happen, that there would be alot of bandwidth use like alot, everyone posting pics and videos.
Now my reason to belive that this would be good. Well alot of people do post pics, vids, and yet there scattered every were, like some in the conut shop, some in the general some in spl and so on, if it was all in 1 simple section, everyone would know that they would be in there and they could just go back into that section and find the vid that they watched and wanted to watch again... I dont know, just an idea... I think in the pics part would be great.

This may work. But may be to much "memory" for the main frame. On the other hand wold be kinda cool to see the rides in an organized place. Being free and all I don't want "Joe public" to Know what we have, theft problem and all. But ya

Yeah that is all ways the concern of everyone, but well, what is available at somethin liek this is, is were you cant post pic by [img] [)/img] but were you have to attach the file, and if your a memeber then only you can see it. Well that still allows jow blow see the pics if hes a memeber... So I dont know what to say.. maybe just another section that doesnt have anything special about it other then the title saying Gallery or something

i think that most guys have pics on thier car /sound domain site. need to show a pic? then post it there and have a link(or where ever you else you post your pics) and leave a video area for here. i can see pics of cars on db drag and isaca and everywhere else. it would be nice to see video of them . makes for an interesting way to watch someone elses car. none of the other site incorperate video. i'm sure that it would take a massive amount of storage space, but you can limit it to a week or so and then it gets taken off. that way if some one wants to see it they can check cca regularly and see it. but it would never get too big. I really don't know too much about hosting videos or if this is posible. but it would be damn nice to see a video of other cars.

We used to have a section where you can upload pics of your install. I believe the code was custom written be Wade. That got changed when we did the changeover to the new version of the board. When you custom write somthing, it can start to cause issues on how the board performs. I can see if there is a way we can bring it back. This is another area that got abused though. There seemed to be pictures of alot of other things besides car audio and installs.
This is a feature that requires a huge amount of space to host the pics/videos. As the board grows in size, the less room we have for added things like this. In the end alot of it comes down to the all might dollar and the costs of going bigger and better.
