I noticed on this forum the only way to know you have a private message is by recieving a email from cca saying so. I get so much garbage email 3/4 of the time I just empty the whole folder right into the trash, and unless you check your profile or whatever you have no idea otherwise you have recieved a private message. Now I'm wondering, is it possible with this site to have a secondary message alert type system? On another website I frequent if you have recieved a private message, you will get an email stating so, and in addition the second you go to that website a large message box will pop up right in the middle of the screen telling you that you have recieved a new private message. Would it be possible to have something like that here?

 

Cool thanks, its very handy feature, there is no way to miss a message because a window pops right up in the middle of your screen and allows you to open the message in a new window. [img]smile.gif[/img]

 

^^ I agree, on most other sites a window will popup, or there will be some kind of notice to see. Here there is nothig, and for the most part I find that it takes peolpe a lonnnnggg time to reply to pms.

 

People are dumb and have to be reminded of stuff.

This forum site is still small, there shouldn't be a need for that.

Yep, took logan at least 3-4months to reply to my last pm, I sent it in the summertime and he just finally replied to it last week because he finally just saw it.

 

Nice post jerk-off, that was a post you didn't need to make. Its just a more convenient way to do things with the window that pops up.
