I was selling an amp. Agreed to sell to a member for x amount. I await payment then 2 days later he comes back with the story he found another identical amp cheaper, so can I lower my price. I tell him I will no longer sell the amp to him, then I add him to my ignore list. A 1/2 hour later a brand new member as of May 26(I think this is at like 0100 may 26) emails me about purchasing the amp. It is obviously the same person. What can we do about this?

That's why you can no longer sign up with a Hotmail or other generic account. Many people have multiple "legitimate" email accounts though.

For a while, each and every membership was individually approved before they could join. That's a huge pain in the ass and impractical. [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

Is there anyway an originating IP address can be displayed with the posts?

That's limited as well since companies like Shaw have multiple users on one IP...
