We (the mods) are actually discussing the whole banners in signature thing right now. It seems like some of them are getting a little out of hand. IMO I think they should all be turfed as it gives alot cleaner look to the board, but in order to please the masses we will most likley just put a size limit on them. I feel sorry for the 56k buggers that have to wait for page after page to load...but if your still on 56k, I'm guessing your used to it? [img]graemlins/dunno.gif[/img]

What are everyone's thoughts on the subject? Stay or go? If they stay, how big?

I think my sig is about right for sizing. It is the norm at most forums and is what i use there as well.

I think the normal 450 x 150 banner is a good size..

i was only hoping to make it the size of the avatar. i think restricting the size would be great but it if gets turfed it get turfed. lethal's looks great. makes it look cool. or at least his does. it looks obvious that bidnik and chris c's look like it took a bit of work. same goes for lethals. its be a shame to not allow them to keep it. but hey i figure that i ask first. That darn megahz prmised me a smaller looking logo. damn you mega. [img]smile.gif[/img]

if you compressed the text on yours, i thing it would be fine, just do that thing where you have a line of clicable text describig the link thingey ma bob ith.

IMO a signature banner is fine as long as it does not blow the page width wise.

Well, of course an 80line sig would suck too and probably get deleted [img]tongue.gif[/img]
