Status Indicators
 

Can we get some more or new status indicators? I am tired of being a Hoser..... :D

We need something like CCA Molson status...

And how about instead of Platinum member status which sounds all cool and blingy, we change the status of banned members to CCA Ben Johnson?

Does anyone else have any good status names/indicators?
Or have I spend WAY to much time thinking about this.... :D

How about CCA Keifer Sutherland, He is pretty bad ass on 24...

I think you're putting way too much stake in the names.. if you some how think that being a golden toque will make your answers seem more intelligent, because of the post count, then go nuts...:dunno:

but, I guess it worked for Dukk, so I don't know...:cheeky4:

I was just bored and I thought this thread would be a funny change of pace. I wanted to see if anyone could come up with something funny or clever. I still think the Ben Johnson thing was pretty good....

In that same vein, I'm sure Chunk's posts got better after he passed 2k+ posts....keep working on it StickyFingaz, it took me a few years to get the Mackenzie status.....and I feel so much smarter for it......:cheeky4:

i agree. need something a little more "cutting edge", and maybe after so many posts you could pick your own status indicator?

Trivia time: We do (or at least used to, I can't seem to find the member list right now :retard: ) have two members with custom status indicators. Who are they and what are the indicators.

wasn't one of them a special indicator for yankee's?

I am just glad that this post took over the front page's "door prize winners". That was getting old.

Funny story about our national hero ben Johnson.
I installed an over-head screen for this customer,(bad customer who I had to chase for money). This guy managed a chain of fitness clubs, and tried to pay his bill with fitness memberships, favours from his buddies buisneses, anything but cash or plastic.
He showed up one day because his FM mods chanel had been switched and he couldnt hear the movie.
I went out to his truck and opened the passenger door and there was Ben johnson in the pass. seat. He freaked out! He started yelling at me, saying "DID I SAY YOU COULD OPEN THE DOOR"! I was like uhh, uhh. do you want me to fix the system in the truck? Again he freaked obout me opening the door!
The owner of the truck calmed him down and I turned the FM mod onto the proper chanel.
The owner introduced us and I put out my hand. The guy squeezed my hand so hard I thought it was busted....

Yes we used to have a 'Yankee' indicator with a US Flag instead of the leafs for our American members. Female members got pink leafs too.

df.dima is half right in that one member had 'cheddar' as his status. Who?

And there was one other member with a custom status tag.

Mugen1 asked for and received "chedder status" he has not been around for a long time, but he used to hang out at Hzemall in BC.

I forgot his name . . . sux2bu maybe? it was a guy who had a negative post count. He earned that as a result of a nasty picture I think . . . did he get a special title with that too?

As for members with over 10,000 posts: Jean Chretien - He was around for too long and had too much to say.

Pretty close. Member was 2xblown which changed to Mephistopheles. Indeed he had a negative post count for a while and his status indicator read: Resident Ass.

So I was thinking about the right guy, I just messed up his name . . . ever since they allowed name changing I lost track of who's who.

What exactly was the reason for the negative post count. I asked at the time and no one told me. Instead my question was received with a lot of "You don't want to know!" "be glad you weren't there" and "After what he did he deserves to be in the negatives."

Dukk, you're the only one who's reached Chretien status eh? So what kind of book-cooking scandal are you working out right now with your successor? :D

Dukk, How on earth do you have Feb 2006 as your join date? You've been around since . . . almost the beginning, and there is no way that you racked up 12,000 posts since then.

When the board changed hands, and after it was updated to the new current forum code, his account was affected, and his post count was back a zero... I guess the count was fixed, but the join date is still messed :dunno:

^ That's right. My original account became corrupted (happened to a few people) and could not be retrieved. That's what the RIP Member #8 in my sig is all about ;)

SO I had to re-register and it took a LOT of whining to get my old post count back on the new account :p
