CCA Gods, am I now worthy of McKenzie status? I know I have not posted near enough to earn the coveted ranking, but doesn't quality of posts matter?

It will give all Back Bacon and Hosers hope to know that post whoring is not always the path to Nirvana.

Besides, it never hurts to ask.

Sorry man, you gotta earn it just like everyone else

There isn't really any special importance put on the levels though.

I was a mod before even being a "Golden Toque". Quality is always prefered over quantity and we certainly do keep an eye on the people with quality posts.

Ok, so that's a really nice way of saying I haven't made (m) any quality posts. j/k.......... it was worth a try. It's just that the Lumina guy has higher status than me, LOL.

Post it is............

I'm not quite sure how you got that out of what I posted.

I said QUALITY over QUANTITY.

The regulars know that Lumina Guy is a n00b, so we wouldn't usually take installation advice from him.

But if you come in and post something that is well written and informed we'd certainly listen to you. (Even if it were your 1st post)

There are enough smart people around here to be able to tell if you're talking out your butt or not

Yeah, I know, I was just being goofey. My sense of humour is not understood by many, especially by my wife. I suffer from ADD and often my posts go from one thing to another...... anyway.

I guess it is the least arbitary means of assigning status: I just find it amusing that there are "golden" people on the site that ONLY post in the donut shop. Maybe there should be a point system utilized by the mods:

1 point for a post in the donut shop, sales, shows,

2 points for eastern or western

3 points for General, SQ, SPL or install related

-1 points for being a dumbass (I guess that would leave me at minus -100 by now)

While were at it and during the cold boring winter months how about a committee to evaluate every post and determine how valuable a contribution the post is making...and those that get to minus figures and don't recover to the plus side within the week would be sent to the penalty box (Suits the Canadian theme) and lose their posting priviledges and be relegated to lurking for a week.
