I purchased this item brand new and used for about 1 year. It has been in storage ever since. I used this on an alpine MP-500 so the woofer never got more then 350Wrms @4ohms. It is barely broken in and can handle 500w RMS at 4ohms. This setup is a 4ohm version, not the 2ohm so make sure to take this into account when picking out an amp to power it.
