Alpine CDE - 9874 - NO FM/AM
A month or two again i purchased the Alpine CDE 9874 Car radio, i have installed everything myself and the AM/FM radio doesn't seem to work.
The strange thing is that when i pull my deck out of the enclosure it will work fine but as soon as i slide it back in to lock it the FM tuner will slowly cut out meaning all the FM and AM channels do NOT work.
I have figured out it must be my antenna cable that goes to the deck although i have electrical taped around it to ensure it doesnt move around, yet it still doesn't work.
So it doesn't work when its in but when i pull it out it does, also the CD's and the AUX work fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
