amp problem....crap

well i have an MA audio HK1397. 2 channel 1600x1 @4, 2x700 @ 2, 2x400 @2. well today i realized that only one of my input channels works both the RCAS are putting output but the right channel input does nothing. to explain better. i can put either of the rcas in teh left input and both channels work (have it set to 1 sub per channel right now) but if i put either in the right input no sound. what could be the cause of this and will it effect me at all for total power and such...i would think it does. is it more likely a loose connection or something blown? im gonna take it out and take er apart to see if anything is obvious... any info would be nice ;x maybe this explains my lower than expected finals number last year haha (even though it was my personal best). thanks guys

you might have broken the solder points for that RCA plug... but if it's still inside the warrantee period I wouldn't crack her open.
