Amp protect mode issue

Amp protect mode issue
Ive checked all my connections. For some reason my amp will play the lower bass notes that dont hit very hard but when the harder notes hit my protect light comes on and my amp cuts in and out. Ive checked all my wires so I would just like to get another opinion on this cause im fairly new to this.
