You can get better than kicker for about the same price, what is the model and brand of you amp?

Dual xpe2700 150 Watts rms 400 Watts max.

Make sure the sub is about 150 watts rms and the 4 ohms version or can be wired to 4 ohms , because you would have to bridge the amp.

What about a 300 watt rms 1300 max? To big of a sub or no?

I will be honest with you, the amp and sub you have and looking at, is noob entry level and in no time you will want to get something better and would end up selling cheap.

Sell the amp you have now and give us a budget we can recommend some thing good.

300 watts rms is a bit too much for that amp.

My budget right now is shitty considering my job sucks.. What I have right now is like a $120 system lol I'm thinking about getting a pioneer GM-5500t 820 max amp with a pioneer TS-W304R, system as a step up. Considering what I have now vibrates my car.

Look around other forums or local craig list for used stuff you can get good deals.

Also don't look at the "max" rating on the amp. That means nothing. You want to look at the rms rating
