Amp Troubles
 

So today on my way home, my amp cut out and won't seem to power up. It just keeps cycling. I took a short video to show what it's doing. I have turned everything right now.

Hmm.. Youtube is going through maintenance? Maybe that's why it won't work?

Regardless..

All that happens is the Power light will start going green, then the protection light goes on.. Green light off... Then green light starts to come on.. then red light on green light off. Hopefully that makes sense?

Have you tried unhooking the subs to see if the amp would stay on? You may have a shorted speaker wire or sub, or the amp itself may have crapped out on you.

Have you checked the + power fuse.
I have seen amps that if you dissconnect the fuse without dissconecting the remote still power up enough to turn on the protect light.
Also try what The Wizard said.

Tried disconnecting the subs, but no luck. The fuse on the main line looked fine, but I will be rewiring this week with a new kit as I am currently running 8awg.

Rewired and still the same issue. However, I gave it a friendly tap and it fixed it?

the fact that hitting it fixed it could mean that theres something loose on the circuit board.
If it happens again either send it in for warranty or have someone reputable look at it.

Protection
 

Sometimes the good old tapping tricks do the job but obviously there's gotta be something else's wrong with it and just for your info, assuming that there may be loose inside - problem could get worse.
