Amplifier Problem
So I finally finished my speaker/sub/amp install tonight. BUt of course I have problems.
My amp is not getting nearly enough current. The voltage reads steady at 13.5, but the amperage/current reads ZERO.
If I crank the gains there is some movement in current but very little. The speakers and sub turn on and produce underpowered sound...my factory rear speakers pound much louder than my Alpine Type X components.
I'm using an Earthquake 900w.5 5 channel. The fuses seem fine. Using jumper cables i ran the ground to the battery and still nothing.
It also pics up engine feedback and other noise. RCA and power are on opposite sides.
Im using an Eclpise 4000 deck.
What did I do wrong?
