Apline M605, 2 !0" Alpine Type E Hook-up
I have my Apline M605 amp hooked up to my 2 alpine 10" type E subs. I have them wired to what i believe is a 2 ohm impedance from the amp and a 4 ohm impedance from the subs. The + from the amp in series to both + terminals on the subs, and the - from the amp in series to the - on the subs. Now my Amp worked great for about a month or so and sounded wonderful, now I get a CUR reading on my amp and in the manual it says im getting to much current. Is my wire hook-up wrong some where? Im kinda of confused to why its not working. Any help would be great. thanks!
Alpine Amp the amp is 400 watt 1 x 4 ohm and 600 watt 1 x 2 ohm

Have your alternator tested as well... it sounds like it may be going screwy. Is this the first time you had a system in this car? a decent sized amp drawing some good current will only accelerate a worn out alternators Death!
