You have me confused right now. Im no audio guru i just know the basics. These are the subs i have. http://www.crutchfield.com/S-DTcPeOZzFhU/cgi-bin/ProdView.asp?g=520&I=500SWS1042. As far as i know they are currently being run at a 4 ohm load. Maybe their running only one coil, but i wouldnt think so.

4ohm's is what one of the two coil is rated for. if you wanna run both coils of the sub you will need to wire them in series to get an 8 ohm load, or parallel to get a 2 ohm load.
to get a 4 ohm load mono will mean that amp is rated for 800 or so watts.
so you will have to series the coils... 8 ohms per sub, then parallel the setup, so the 8 ohm load per sub splits to 4 ohms.

How would i paralell the setup? Right now as far as i know i am running a 4 ohm load with my current amp and it is bridged to get the max RMS possible. What would be the best way to run my subs with this amp.

Your best bet would be to run them in a 4 ohm load... check out this site for wiring details.. http://www.rockfordfosgate.com/rftech/woofer_wizard.asp?submitted=true&woofer_qty=2&woof er_imp=4

there are 2 possible ways. but its all about what your mind thinks sounds the best.
2 ohm load per channel.
or 4 ohm mono.
from personal prefrence 4 ohm mono with series coils sounds like ***.
paralled to each channel for a 2 ohm load per channel sounded way better.
