BLOWN OUT MY INDASH Pioneer AVH4900

Heres the story.
Before you read this please realize I know &$@! all about the terms or jargin so just give me your honest opinion please.

I recently bought a pioneer avh4900 from my friendly sales guy at futureshop. I decided to install it myself and got into a little trouble. I got the unit working and wired. I played a cd and it worked great. However I didn't cover the wires yet with electrical tape or soder them together.

My problem is I jammed the deck back in without covering the wires because I had to leave it and I turned on the car to see if it was still going and nothing. I turned on the car and the deck didn't respond so I unplugged everything and plugged in my old deck, this didn't work either.

Frusterated I called it a day and I drove home to see my engine light turn solid yellow.

I think i might back blown a fuse for the car audio which would be a simple fix or i blew up the deck and f'ed my car up..

heres the website of the deck

I'd be inclined to say that you've blown two fuses. A re-boot from a car dealership can be expensive. Hopefully when the fuses get replaced, you'll be ok.

Good luck.
