Can i use 2 10" subwoofers of different make?

I've got a 150w rms Rockford Fosgate 10" sub, and a 200w rms Phoenix Gold
10" sub.

I want to throw them into a box together. :dunno:

The are very similar subs with similar specs, how would they sound together?

Good? Bad? Worth doing anyways?

I really just don't want to go out and buy another sub of one or the other kind.

Thanks in advance to those who take the time to help me out.

I have done this before. Didn't sound bad cuz spec's were pretty close.

If you want to test them first, build a bvox out of Particle board.

If the spec's are close then it should sound bad

Hope this helps :)

it will look dumb

you will be laughed at

you are cheep or lazy and everyone will know it

and yeah you can do it, shouldnt hurt anything, it should also sound like ass but you could get lucky

A friend of mine put a 12" sony sub and a 12" infinity sub in the same sealed box, ewwwwww. Sounded so messed up.
