cap. & grnd. hookup

When installing 3 separate amps (front, rear & sub) do I hook each to the + of the Cap? Also, should I just go to body ground or use a dist. block & back to the battery using a larger grnd. wire as the chart states?

Wire the cap into a distribution block along with the amps. If you have a positive and negative run of wire then yes... use a distribution block for the grounds too.

The sub amp is the power hog, connect the cap to it.

what no debate on the effectiveness of capacitors? Small ones at least...

Dude's got a cap and wants to know how to install it.

I believe caps have a purpose.

Indeed they do, saves me from bad sunburn all the time.

I'm planning on running a single 1F for all 3 amps.

Then I guess my Soundstream SC-20CA 20 Farad is absolute overkill for a single 500watt amp LOL

scrap the cap toss a bat in its place instead.
