Capacitor help please!
Hey guys,
I have a 5.2 Farad capacitor in my car, power goes like this: Battery to fuse/fuse to capacitor/then from the cap it goes to the amp and to ground. Now everytime I shut my car off, I pull the fuse out thinking that it will drain my battery. Do I need to be doing this? Can I just leave it hooked up? There is an lcd with a voltage readout on it...also two neon lights. When I shut the car off, after a few minutes of no activity, the lights turn off. So this has me thinking that it does not drain the battery. But because there is no remote wire going to it to tell it when to turn off and on, how do I know that it isn't drawing current? Thanks! |
