Hello everyone. Be kind to the newbie here.

I have an old A/D/S PQ10 amp that I really like but it stopped working. I jiggled the power lead and the sound started to come back but it cuts in and out. I get a split second of sound, a few seconds of silence, a split second of sound, etc... This is without jiggling the wire.

I really like the amp and would like to save it if possible. Anyone know if it's repairable?

 

Sounds like the antique needs to be opened up and fixed, the good news is it is probably just a loose connection from its 15 years of service life... but dont wait too long

 

Can anyone recommend a repair shop in GTA?

 

just open it up.. take a sauldering gun and heat every connection to make better contact instead of having someone do it for like 35$ an hour or more if that doesnt work well bring it to the repair shop
