Which DSP?

I have a 18 ram 1500 with the 8.4 inch touchscreen without the Alpine system. I have Rockford Power 6x9 in rear doors 6 1/2 components in front doors then i think punch series 3 1/2 in the dash. I am pretty sure there is a factory amp. I think i want to go with 8 mid and high channels then 2 sub channels. 2 for the 3 1/2, 2 for the 6x9, and bi-amp the components then 2 for the subs. The problem i am having is, i spoke to an installer thinking about audiocontrol amps, he said he wasn't sure about all of the features of audiocontrol and let me speak to thier distribution rep. He was pushing me towards the rockford DSR1 and a t plug saying that i would be able to bypass my factory amp and keep all of the factory features such as chimes and that thoses chimes would not be amplified. Did i miss understand something from him. If i do go with a DSR1 it looks like i can not sum any channels. I would like to sum all channels just for the subs then use a low pass filter. Could i use the DSR1 and then a LC8i? Am i on the right track or just overthinking. I like the looks of Audiocontrol DSP and amp specs over the Rockford. I want a clean sounding system.TIA
