Good replacement for Pioneer TS-C603?
I was wondering if someone could recommend a good replacement for the Pioneer TS-C603 speaker system. Pioneer of Canada - English - TS-C603 -
My one speaker has a sizable hole in the cone, so obviously I have to replace the speaker. Since the model of speaker is more than likely discontinued since my audio system was built and installed back in 2000, I was wondering what other Pioneer 2way speakers with the same dimensions: 6-5/8" x 3-5/8" and mounting Depth: 2-3/8" would be compatible with the crossover and tweeters that came with the Pioneer TS-603 Component Speaker Package as indicated in the link I provided.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

Chances are that you are going to end up replacing all of the speakers I hate to say. Finding just a set of mids to go along with those speakers can indeed be done but they will be far and few between. A good solid basic set of component speakers can be found relaively inexpensive these days. Do you have a budget for what the new speakers will be?

I was hoping for a budget of $100, but I guess thats going to be a problem :P
The rest of the speakers in my truck are fine, its just the one speaker that is toast. I doubt I could repair the speaker. The hole isn't huge, but it's not small either.

You can put a little clear silicone on the front and back and hope for the best. As I said, finding a set of mids only new is going to be next to impossible, especially on your budget I hate to say. The best thing for you to do is start looking used and then take the chance that they work for your application. You do not have to replace the tweeters and crossovers but a 10 year old speaker is also a little tired as well. They too get worn out over time, thus the suggestion to start from the beginning again.
