Hell me with a Cap

I am not new to car audio but still a little green when it comes to automotive capacitors. I've got a couple of questions, number one would be is it really worth paying the extra money and buying a brand name unit or like a rockford or stinger or something cheaper like a power acoustic or lightening audio unit? I mean are all these unit created fairly equal or are you really getting alot more for your money by getting a more expensive brand name piece. My other question would be how many farads would be adequate for system that normally draws around 500-600 watts rms and around 1000 peak. Any help is greatly appreciated guys.

1 farrad will do it and no sense spending money on the name. They're all made by the same company
