Help a newb ruin his car

Hey, my first post on this forum!

I have no experience in audio and what Im looking to do is very uncommon so it is difficult to find the answers Im looking for by just googling. It also might not make sense to most of you here since this is an audio forum and this project has nothing to do with making better sound. Also please forgive any terminology I mess up. :newbie:

My goal for this project is to reduce the weight of my car for performance reasons by getting rid of all the stuff that is not necessary (to me) while still keep the car nice (aka not ripping out the radio, sorta).

I want to completely get ride of my cars entire sound system/wiring including the factory head unit and external amp and replace them with a head unit with a powerful enough onboard amp then run speaker wire directly from the head unit to only component speakers and tweeters in the (2)doors.

Right now I only have the factory front and rear tweeters and front component speakers. No sub at all. Im fine with the sound. I don't drive this car for sound quality.

These are the speakers Im looking to get.

My plan was re-pin the radio main plug and only keep the following from the factory radio harness:
Radio ground Ground point (gnd)
Antenna supply (remote)
Nighttime illumination signal Light module
Terminal 30 Fuse F56 (+12v battery)
Voltage supply terminal R Unloader relay, terminal R (+12v ignition)

The rest of the pins are speaker related and Ill only pin the speakers I have.

Now... will this work or should I just go :stroke:

Im also thinking I don't need the crossovers since there is not sub or rear speakers but I also dont know jack.

So, to all the people to who do know, Im asking if you can see this working and if there is anything Im missing (besides most of my speakers lol) in this plan.

Thanks!
