How to import/creat playlists using USB: Alpine CDA-117

I copied about 8GB of music to a new USB stick and am using the USB dongle input on my new CDA-117 for the majority of my music listening. I had a playlist of 60 or 70 songs created within that copied music, but it didn't import. After reading the owners manual over and over I can't find anything about how to create a playlist?? Searching is frustrating with that many songs- I want a small playlist of the good stuff/favorites.
Anyone??

create different folders on the computer, and make the file names with numbers in front

eg:
01-acdc-hells bells.mp3

Thanks- I tried that, and it doesn't even recognize that there is a folder?!
