Hey i have been running my Alpine PDX 1.600 monoblock amp with 2 type R 10's for about 5 months now, It seems to have more then enough output, and the sound is great, I am thinking about another pdx for my speakers 2 channel. what are your opinions about pdx amps? my monoblock has been great soo far i dont want to spend the money until i know it is going to be a good investment for myself

PDX amps

PDX are sweet amps, they have a digital signal instead of an analog signal, so they have a a cleaner sound to them.
They have better ways of dispersing heat and there size makes them ez to stack on each other or hide under a seat. So i would suggest getting another one.
So pound away...

ahh yes just what i wanted to hear, although once this year my system shut down in the summer i think from heat, it was smoking hot outside so that dosnt help. but the sound is amazing i just dont know if there is a better speaker amp for the money as i only need a 2 chan amp

What you said makes no sense. They are a full range class D, not a digital amp. They do use analogue.hehe

And they don't disperse heat better, they simply don't create as much because of the class D part.It is simply more efficient.

But for the op, they are proven performers lot's of people love em. I would not hesitate to use them.
