Kenwood DDX Code set - "waiting"
Hi All
I have a Kenwood DDX5032
Someone played around with the code set screen and now player is stuck on the Code set security screen and the keypad isnt working as the screen has waiting on it
anyone know a way around this? i've tried doing firmware update in tuner mode but still stuck on that screen
thanks

I have the same problem. Disconnected my battery. Put the wrong code in twice when re connected, now stuck on 'waiting' screen
Been told you have to contact Kenwood themselves, give serial number of head unit and for a fee of £10 will reactivate it. Is this correct? and the only procedure possible?

Ok i looked into this further, there is a company to call, details are below. You need to supply model and serial numbers. And send a copy of your passport or driving licence to the email provided below. Give them 24 hours to process, call them back, and they will issue the reset code.
Company: Fullers
Tel: 01728 746743
Email: amanda@carradiorepairs.co .uk
I was also told, with the 'waiting' screen, the head unit is to be left on with the screen showing for anything up to 24hrs. It will then revert back to the code screen. Please note, the power must be constant and un-interupted ie. if the car is started meantime or power lost the time will reset and will begin from the start again.
Hope this helps.
Im in the process of getting mine sorted now.
