Kicker kx 600.1 amp settings need help
 

Hi. I just installed in a 2012 Honda accord using the stock radio. Installed a l5 12 inch kicker sub in a huge vented box with a kicker kx 600.1 amp and a 1 farid capacitor. There's 3 settings on the amp Iam not sure where to set them. It's the gain , bass boost , and x over. I also have the remote switch hooked up with a telephone looking wire. I was told its not a bass booster switch even though that's what it says. I was told it only controls the gain.
If someone can give me a good setting I would appreciate it. I don't have any meters to check it. So a tip on where to set each dial would be very helpful. Also on the remote setting. Thanks

Unfortunately you can't just put the dials for the different settings where someone recommends they go, you have to set the gain and crossover accordingly. Especially when the factory headunit is your source. Take it to a reputable shop in your area and get them to set it up.
